Homework!

Today was shoulders and tris with Amy.  She said I was leaning out in the back.  I said, "Ya, cool,  I can't ever see back there".  So she took this pic while I was working rear delts.  (Side note, my arse looks weird, yuck).
At the end of the workout she said I have some HOMEWORK for you ladies and you HAVE TO do it TONIGHT!  *I'm thinking, Ugh, more cardio, great*  She says go EAT something FUN!

Wait, what?



Amy, my trainer, was asking all kinds of questions on Friday...about my food intake, how I'm doing with it, if I feel hungry or full, then said she's changing up my diet. She also said she can see a change in my upper body (filling out more)!!  Asked how I feel about my leg progress (since I always wear pants and she can't see them).  Finally she finished off with asking, "what is the date of the show you want to do?"....I say Sept 28th and she dropped the BOMB..."let's see if we can get you ready for the Treasure Coast Show in AUGUST." 

WAIT, WHAT??  3 more months of prep time left!  OH.EM.GEE, SHIZ JUST GOT REAL!!   (so excited to see the changes).

Slow progress is still progress :)

Shoulder day on my own last week....progress!

Gonna hit up some cardio after work at 3am.
Then Back/bi's with the trainer at 6pm. Almost one month in.....Still excited though I'm finding it hard to CHOKE down the meals sometimes!  Gotta get my ass in gear with food prep too.  I HATE RAW CHICKEN and find it makes me so disgusted and queasy that I can't stomach eating it after having handled it. Hubby usually cooks for us (he's such an amazing man) but, I can't always count on him to be there to cook for me as much as he tries.  I appreciate him more than he'll ever know!  I LOVE YOU DAMIAN!!!!!

Animal print pants out control!

So, had some time and bday giftcards to spend at VS...so I got me some leopard print workout pants.  Maybe now I can attack those workouts like an ANIMAL, lol!


Also tried on a bikini but, didn't buy it.  *SUPER SAVER TIP*...never buy a bikini at VS!  Try it on at the store to make sure of your size, then go home and order online, it's almost always cheaper.  I saved $15 even with shipping compared to the in store price.  Here it is!  The backs of my legs is where I carry ALL MY FAT..so excuse the grossness.  Working on that...I'll repost progress pics in the same suit so we can track the difference ;)

All hooked up!

My birthday was the weekend before I started my "official" bikini comp training.  I was very blessed and got the HOOKUP from my babe, Damian!  He got me a 6 Pack Fitness meal bag, some tanks from Fit and Psyched, and a couple of new pairs of sneaks!  The Chanel glasses were a non fitness related BONUS!  :)


Today my Polar FT4F heart rate monitor, courtesy of b-day $ from my sis, arrived!  My old one croaked and boy was I lost without it!  Can't wait to put it to good use after work....chest/tri's & cardio on my own.

2nd session

Got up at 8am to hit the gym for my 2nd ever training session. Anyone that knows me and how much I LOVE to sleep knows this is huge for me, LOL.  Anyway, STILL feelin sore in my quads from session one and ALREADY the soreness is setting in on the back muscles from today's workout!

Soreness setting in.....

Legs feel sore and I love/hate it!  I think I may need one of these..

My trainer said wait til tomorrow it should be worse, all while laughing.  *I think she enjoys this.*  The scariest part is that I'm pretty sure she was taking it easy on me this first leg day.  OHEMGEE, can't wait to see how I feel when she REALLY sticks it to me.


Hitting the gym on my own at 3am to get some cardio and upper body done.  Feeling good :)

Day one...feeling very excited to start on this path of becoming an NPC Bikini Competitor!  HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT??
Today I met with my new trainer Amy Moore from the Fit & Psyched training team.  She's no joke, and started us off with a BANG!  LEG DAY (my fav), NOT.  All I can say is:

I've recently decided to take my fitness to the "next level" and committed to training with the Fit and Psyched Training Team for an NPC Body Building Competition in the Bikini Division.  Thought it would be a good idea to chronicle this journey so I can look back at the highs and lows of training, dieting, and life in general.
