2013 Dayana Cadeau Classic

Our last show came and went SO QUICKLY that I've just NOW had the chance to sit down and blog about it.  It wasThe 2013 Dayana Cadeau Classic on Oct 26th in Coral Springs, FL.  Hubby and I both competed, he in Physique Over 40 and myself in Figure Over 30 and Open Class C.

The morning started waaaaaay early, as usual.  I did my own hair and make up, as usual :)  Glad I can do these things...it saves SOOOOO much $$!!

We got the line up for show time and found out the Figure girls were going LAST, what?!  We NEVER go last.  Bikini is usually last..they were first this time.  Oh boy was it a long wait.  We got bored and started taking pics in the dressing room.  These are some of the beautiful women that competed in all the different levels in Figure, myself included (far left).

Then it was my turn.....
No call outs for me in Over 30, but I got first call outs for Class C!
 
Half time was a whirlwind of driving, picking up our daughter from one sitter to bring her home to meet with the next sitter, cooking some meals, eating, and driving back.  It's always so hectic!!!

Back for the night show and ready....

Again, Damian went first and got 3rd place in the Men's Physique Over 40 class!!  So proud.

Next up was ME!!!!  I did not place top 5 out of 8 in Over 30.  It was a tough class, the ladies are on point and representing.  I need to add some more size before next season.  I did place 3rd in Class C tho!  Wooo Hooo!

All in all it was a great show and another wonderful learning experience!  Not too bad for our 2nd show in our respective classes!!!  On to the next and last for this Season...the Florida Gold Cup on November 16th, 2013.

    1. That's EXACTLY what it is Kaaren! I will most definitely not be eating fish 4 of 6 meals anymore as I have been for the last 13 weeks or so! I will probably have a lot more red meat, chicken, and carbs :) And my workouts will be much more concentrated on heavy lifting and squatting/lunging to build my back/lats and legs for next year!
